Renaud Visage | Co-Founder of Eventbrite

We welcome Renaud Visage, Co-Founder at Eventbrite for a raw conversation on the turning points in his life that got him to where he is now and what drives him to keep going.

             

Renaud Visage is the founding technical architect and former CTO of global self-service ticketing and experience technology platform Eventbrite, a serial seed investor and startup advisor, as well as Venture Partner at Point Nine Capital. 

With engineering degrees from Cornell University (USA) and Ecole Centrale de Lyon (France), Renaud started his career as an environmental consultant. Fascinated by the near limitless potential of a developing Internet, Renaud joined internet photo-sharing pioneer Zing Networks as Director of Engineering, which was funded by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and later acquired by Sony ImageStation. 

In 2006, he joined forces with Kevin & Julia Hartz to found Eventbrite. Since its inception, the platform has been at the center of the experience economy, transforming the way people organize and attend events. Today, Eventbrite serves a community of hundreds of thousands of event creators in nearly 180 countries.
