François Le Gloan | President Americas & Oceania at La Prairie

We welcome Francois Le Gloan, President Americas & Oceania at La Prairie for a raw conversation on the turning points in his life that got him to where he is now and what drives him to keep going.

             

François Le Gloan has over 25 years of success in the beauty and personal care industry for luxury brands. He has the rare gift of being able to balance general management acumen with sales, marketing, and commercial expertise to drive sustained and profitable growth while enhancing brand equity and customer experience. François has held full P&L responsibilities in demanding corporate environments (LVMH, Beiersdorf). He also has knowledge and exposure to the global marketplace, especially in Asia, China, and North America.

As a Board member at La Prairie, François has participated in decision-making regarding the overall direction of the company, including all roadmap items. As President of the Americas / Oceania at La Pririe, he established the brand as the epitome in luxury skincare, focusing on brand elevation and communication, distribution selectivity, eCommerce growth, and in-store client experience.

Prior to his time at La Prairie, François worked in Asia for Dior where he developed a brand footprint, increased market share, and returned a profit in both country and regional positions. François delivered record sales and profitability in the most competitive marketplace while rolling out new retail concepts; including free-standing boutiques. He brought consistency to the brand strategy and its execution. Previous to his time in Asia, François worked in Europe for Sisley and Dior, in commercial positions, most notably in travel retail at Dior and domestic markets at Sisley.

Apt at building cohesive and high-performing teams with a culture of trust and collaboration, François has the ability to work in various types of structures (headquarters, affiliates, regions) within international groups or family-owned companies.
