Glazer’s Beer and Beverage | Sip N’ Chat 23

Perpetual’s Traci Gentry leading to accelerate gender parity

As part of their continued commitment to DE&I, Glazer’s Beer & Beverage recently impanelled a group of female leaders who are defying expectations and breaking barriers, both in their personal and professional spheres. The Glazer’s Beer & Beverage Sip N’ Chat panel provided a space for esteemed corporate leaders to come together and delve into thought-provoking conversations. It was heartening to see over 300 people tune into the live event and engage with these inspiring leaders and further the discussion

Our very own Traci Gentry joined panelist experts Erin Donar, Vice President of Communications for the National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA), and Jenn Litz-Kirk, Director of Content and Executive Editor of Schuhmacher Publishing’s Beer Publications to delve into a range of thought-provoking topics, including personal journeys from of each of the featured guests, key lessons for women navigating the corporate world, the importance of advocating for ideas and people, the « if you can see her, you can be her » principle and how to support women by creating meaningful impact in professional environments.

Congratulations to Traci for honoring us all with her thoughts and insight on these incredibly important topics. Thank you to Glazer’s Beer and Beverage for sounding a call to action for accelerating gender parity and celebrating women’s achievement. An equal world is an enabled world.

SIP N’ CHAT 23

In commemoration of Women’s History Month, Glazer’s Beer & Beverage invited folks to come together to celebrate all the fantastic women who are challenging the status quo and shattering glass ceilings in their personal and professional lives. Panelist experts included Erin Donar, Vice President of Communications for the National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA), Jenn Litz-Kirk, Director of Content and Executive Editor of Schuhmacher Publishing’s Beer Publications, and Traci Gentry, Partner at Perpetual.

Erin and Jenn are both a part of NBWA’s BREW initiative to promote women to higher ranks of beer industry leadership. Jenn serves on the board of the BREW initiative, as well as the three-tier group, Alliance for Women in Beer. Traci is a member of Chief, the only organization specifically designed for the most powerful women executives to strengthen their leadership, magnify their influence, and pave the way to bring others with them.

The group delve into a range of thought-provoking topics, including personal journeys from of each of the featured guests, key lessons for women navigating the corporate world, the importance of advocating for ideas and people, the « if you can see her, you can be her » principle and how to support women by creating meaningful impact in professional environments. Additionally, the discussion tapped into into the greatest skills we have seen in successful leaders (of all genders) that we aspire to emulate.

Speakers engaged with both a live audience and virtual audiences from 11 branch locations across Arkansas, Texas, and Louisiana. The format of the event offered a unique opportunity for audience members to hear special tips and feedback from presenters that they would otherwise not have received from a traditional virtual presentation or meeting.
